A Gallery/Allen+Alan Fine Art proudly presents the debut solo, painting exhibition of Utah artist Lizzie Wenger. "From Where We Stand" explores the National Parks and wilderness areas of our state. In this exhibition, Lizzie is especially interested in the relationship between people and places. She embraces the healing forces of nature, and the benefits in having a relationship with the great outdoors. Her connection to her work reminds us of the importance of preserving and protecting these magical places.
Lizzie's stylized landscapes beautifully depict the fragile beauty of the Southwest. A Utah native, she developed a love for the outdoors early in life which evolved into a passion for climbing, mountaineering, backpacking, and other action sports. This experienced relationship based on exploring the landscapes she depicts allows her to capture the essence of their diversity and vibrancy.
