HALEE ROTH
THE HUMAN SPIRIT: Beauty, Light, and the Power Within
solo painting exhibition
Roth received her B.F.A. in painting and drawing from Utah State University where the beginnings of her bold, figurative style were born. Shaped by personal study and time spent with master works, her paintings have developed into light filled canvases that, while contemporary, have a foothold in tradition.
Halee Roth lives in Utah, where she works in her studio surrounded by gardens and mountains. Halee received her B.F.A. from Utah State University in painting and drawing with an emphasis on the figure and art education, teaching art at the secondary level for many years. She studied art abroad in Germany where she fell in love with German Expressionism and attributes her bold use of color to her time spent living in India before graduation. She is devoted to the human form.
