DARL THOMAS 1950-2024
Darl was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, near a steel fabricating company that would become an early inspiration for his eventual sculpting career. He earned a BFA at the University of Utah, then went on to receive a MFA at Cranbook Academy of Art in Michigan. He was curated into numerous art exhibitions in Utah and Colorado, and created commissioned sculptural works for many public spaces including the ATK Memorial Sculpture in Corinne, Utah, Park City Transit Center, the Scott M. Matheson Court Building, Wasatch Hollow Park and Weber State University. A Gallery/Allen+Alan Fine Art represented Darl for many years during his life and is honored to represent his estate.
