Over 30 years of excellence. A Gallery Fine Art & Custom Framing
Born in Canada and raised in Utah, Royden’s main artistic inspiration and focus has been the distinctive Southern Utah red rock landscape.
He captures the impact of the desert in austere black and white woodcuts and colorful paintings. In both media Royden conveys the majesty
of the Western landscape with a veil of the mystical.
Royden graduated from Brigham Young University in 1976 with a Bachelor of Fine Art. In 1979, Royden received his Masters of Fine Art
at Brigham Young University at which in 1980 he began his teaching career. Royden has taught part time for the University of Utah and
Utah Valley State College. His works are in various academic and private collections nationwide including the Smithsonian in Washington D.C.
