Artist Application Procedure
A Gallery
welcomes artist applications. Because we receive many of
them, and because we are busy assisting clients, preparing
exhibitions and addressing business needs, it is important
that artists respect gallery time restraints and use the
following procedures. You may hear back from us right away,
but it is more likely that you will not get a response for
several months (we normally make new artist decisions only
once or twice a year).
DO
* Send e-mails containing your biography, images and/or web site to: artistsubmissions@agalleryonline.com
* Mail or drop off packets containing approximately 20 printed images of
your work, together with a biography and any other pertinent information.
* Fill out our artist application form (required) to include with your
packet. download

DO NOT
* Expect gallery personnel to spend time with you when you drop off your
application.
* Expect a critique of your work when you drop off packets or are not accepted.
* Send follow-up e-mails to see if we have seen the work.
* Make follow-up phone calls.
* Send discs (they are too likely to have viruses or incompatible programs)
* Send slides (send printed images only)
* Become impatient. We may like your work but not have an opening at the
time you submit. We save information on artists with potential and could
contact you in the future. |

in 1983, Salt Lake City's "A" gallery
is one of Utah's most respected fine art galleries. The
award winning, 10,000 square foot gallery, including sculpture
garden, houses a distinctive collection of contemporary fine
art paintings and sculpture by established and emerging artists.
Choose from a large, constantly evolving selection of abstract,
landscape, and figurative paintings by local regional and international
artists working in all media.
